Doorstep

Doorstep is a private canvassing web app for organising rounds, addresses, residents, and doorstep conversations in one place. It helps teams plan who is going where, record what happened, and keep local campaign data tidy after each session.

It is built for people doing practical field work. Canvassers see the rounds assigned to them, managers can plan activity and maintain address data, and admins can control user access, recovery, and installation settings.

Doorstep is self-hosted, so your organisation keeps control of its installation, users, and data. Built-in access controls, audit records, encrypted backups, and privacy administration help your team operate responsibly under its own data-protection policies.

What Doorstep Helps You Do

  • Arrange each round in walking order, attach a map, and save address locations while in the field

  • Import electoral roll data, review possible moves, and safely undo completed imports
  • Manage wards, polling districts, streets, areas, towns, addresses, and campaign activities
